Conrad Challenge 2022 Update

Once again, our 4th-year students have achieved the Conrad Innovators designation. They were even featured on the Conrad Challenge Instagram page! We are optimistic that’s a good sign our students will hopefully advance!

Their project has progressed from last year, reaching the prototype stage with a full-size prototype almost completed by the Lunatecs, a South Jersey Robotics high school team.

These young women also completed a second business plan and video for submission for the Challenge. Click the link below to watch them explain their business plan in the video.

They have had discussions with alternative transportations sources such as Washington Metro Transit Authority who has expressed interest in the ValkEIRe.

As we move forward, we are working on a full patent to allow the girls to license the prototype once it’s completed.
If the girls advance to the finals, they will be traveling to Houston, TX, at the end of April to compete in Round 3.

Let’s give them a round of applause at this accomplishment and wish them luck as they await word of making the finals!
