The LuNaTecs FRC Team 316 robotics team traveled to Springfield, Mass. during the snow storm on March 5 to participate in the New England –Pioneer Valley District Robotics competition.  The team, sponsored by Salem Community College, South Jersey Robotics, PSEG, Boeing and DuPont, competed against 32 other squads to take second place. The students also received the Imagery Award for their integration of team look, robot look and pit display.

The LuNaTecs, based at Salem Community College, have 12 students from the surrounding New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. Students participate in FIRST® Robotics and, in partnership with Salem Community College, earn 15 college credits.
